Frosted Glass Vases

If one wants to convert his/her old vase into new frosted glass vase then he/she can make this possible by following some specific directions. The process of making frosted glass vase does not take much time and can be prepared easily. One can make frosted glass vase for his house very easily. Before starting the process of making frosted glass vases, clean the vase well and leave it to dry. Cover the whole vase by applying masking tape on it, starting from the bottom to top. Now tape on the chosen pattern or stencil with painter's tape. If the pattern is small then it requires to be taped just on corners to hold on its place. This pattern can be on center only or on whole of the vase. Now use a pen to sketch out the design by the stencil or the pattern. You can also use marker for sketching. If one is using a stencil, which is not cut then he/she can compress it, leaving line up on tape with pen. At last, take the tape off the vase.

After this, cut the pattern out of the masking tape by using a craft knife or razor knife. Try to cut the pattern out as firmly as possible. If there is any little piece of tape, which is fastening up, shear it off or press it back down. It is essential to get the smooth edges, as this will be the outline on glass after taking off the tape. Now wrap the job region well, and ensure that it is aerated. With spray frost, spray on the glass vase. Make sure that the opening areas are covered. Leave it to dry for about 60 minutes then remove the tape and you will find the design of stencil frosted on glass of vase.

Leave the vase as it is or you can also frost whole vase by genuine fine layer, overhauling the design of pattern too. This will make the pattern fix but it will frost the remaining vase also. After finishing frosting process, paint the design. The paint can be applied on the pattern also and after that whole vase can be frosted. This provides the color to the vase and brightens it up a slight more. If the person is not good in cutting patterns then different size of masking tapes can be used for covering. One should place a broad piece of tape at the underside and should apply a slight piece on the upper part. When the tape will be taken off, one will get dissimilar sized rings and stripes on the glass vase.
